What’s the minimum age in which you can work at a dog kennel?

I am currently looking for a job as a kennel worker, part-time. So if any one knows the lowest age you can work there or any requirements to be employed. Any help is appreciated!

Can a dog get kennel cough from being around other dogs even if up to date on all his shots?

I have 2 dogs, take them to the dog park and around other dogs often, One of the 2 sounds like he has a cough, the other does not. Just wondering if they can pick up kennel cough even if they have had all the immunizations? Just noticed it today, and…….yes I will be calling the vet 1st thing in the morning.

What is the best ground cover for a dog kennel?

How to tell if a dog has kennel cough?

I am fostering a dog, she has been with me for a week. She came to us from a shelter. How can i tell if she has kennel cough? She just started making some “hacking” type noises, no sneezing though. Is there a way I can determine that its not just something stuck in her throat and that it could be kennel cough? Also, has it been too long since she was at the shelter for her to start symptoms now?

I want to understand if that is the likely case before calling the foster coordinator I worked with. Once I call them they will determine if she goes to the vet.
I just wanted to add a bit more about what she sounds like. I have never heard a dog with kennel cough, but I know my other dog “hacks” sometimes if he has something in his throat. Thats what she has been doing, and then she gags a little sometimes.

How do I expand my dog kennel?

My dogs stay in a pen outside during the day while we’re at work(long story, but they like to dig under the part of the fence that doesn’t belong to us). I have equipped the pen with a wooden pallet for them to sun bathe on, water and food, sun shade, a grassy area and a dog house with plastic flaps. As my puppy is getting bigger, the pen is getting smaller! I need to buy a new, bigger pen, but I hate to just discard this one. It is 5 x 8. To put it together, you assemble the poles, then wrap the chain link around it and secure it. Is there something I can buy to expand this one? Does anyone have any experience with this? Any relatively inexpensive ideas? I have 2 cockers and a 7 month basset.

How do I legally shut down a dog kennel.?

How do I legally shut down a dog kennel, its dirty, nasty and it sticks… they have a lot of dogs there, and they breed them and sell them… Also its 10 feet away from my apartment…. Isn’t there a law in califorinia that you can’t have a dog kennel right next to an apartment building… please help.

My dog has kennel cough and the vet wants to put her on antibiotics?

My dog had the Bordetella Vaccine but was exposed to a dog that has kennel cough the next day. I’ve searched online and everything I’ve read says that to just let the disease run it’s course and the dog will be over it in 2 weeks. The vet assistant said that kennel cough doesn’t go away by itself. She said they would have to put my dog on two different antibiotics, one for inflammation and I can’t remember the other. I heard antibiotics are bad for the dogs immune system though. I tried to find a suppressant for kennel cough locally but didn’t have any luck.
