I am currently looking for a job as a kennel worker, part-time. So if any one knows the lowest age you can work there or any requirements to be employed. Any help is appreciated!

    18

I think part time work for anything (to be paid) is 16.

It really depends on the state you live in, but the average is 18. At least here in Missouri

It depends on how responsible you are.

Be aware that kennel work is mainly shovelling chit.

You need to be responsible enough to keep gates latched and not allow dogs to escape, to give proper foods and medications as directed, to do a thorough job cleaning, to treat the dogs properly and know how to handle them.

You’ll probably also need your own tranportation, since most kennels are out in the country.

Other than that, it depends on the individual kennel. Many private kennels hire teenagers to help with clean-up.

in most areas 16 unless you have a special permit to work

it depends on where you live because different states and cities require different age groups here in Winfield Kansas you can be sixteen to work part time at the humane society and 18 for a full time position but like i said depends on the city and state you live in
