  1. I really like the look of this feeding dish; it matches the contemporary decor of my home. It doesn’t seem to slow down my Weimaraner’s eating speed a whole lot, but it does makes a good companion to the Drink Better Bowl, which works really well.

  2. Well, the bowl did slow the rate at which my dog consumed his food but not by very much.

  3. I think the ‘concept’ is wonderful…however, for a 14# Shih-Tzu that ‘inhales’ his food…this is not working very well. I still have to give him tiny ‘portions’ to slow him down. I do believe the sections are too large for a smaller dog. I happened to leave the bowl down after he was finished eating one day and he chewed all three raised sections….so….the bowl is now ruined and useless to him….and to me. Wasted money on this one…sorry folks.

  4. Great food dish to slow down your dog’s eating pace, our bassett mix used to eat in 30 seconds, now he takes about two minutes. Plastic is sturdy and stays put on the floor, the notch on the bottom makes picking it up much easier than normal bowls.

My small 10 pound Pug loves this bowl. She would gulp her food from a standard bowl & throw up almost after every meal. We examined all products of this type & found this one superior to the others due to its design, weight & non-slip nature. It will take about a week for your dog to get familiar with the bowl.
