This bed is soft and tough! We’ve had it for a little over a month and our doberman pup loves it! She chews on it, shakes it and drags it with her as she follows me from room to room. I don’t think her sharp puppy teeth have caused any damage yet and I don’t think they will. I have thrown it in the washer and dryer (not on high heat) at least 5 times and it looks exactly the same.

I really like that it is made from recycled materials and I am trying to buy another for when this is in the washer but the prices keep changing. Right now the prices are around $59 but I got a large for $35.

First of all, the bed is made from recycled materials, but it is very soft and extremely durable. I plan to buy at least one more very soon. Our doberman puppy loves the bed and even though she tends to chew on it a lot, it has held up very well. Definitely a great bed!!

  3. The dog bed from West Paw is very nice and tho my little old(almost 16 yo) mini Eskie won’t use it yet, the other dogs have.It appears to be very well made and I like the fact it was made with re-cycled pop bottles and made in the good ol’ USA. However, the box it came in was way too large for shipping the bed – it could have held 6-7 of the same beds and still had room. It would appear that Amazon wasted money on my free shipping. Possibly they didn’t have to pay more, but now I have to breakdown the big box for recycling. BTW the bed itself was safely wrapped well in clear plastic to protect it. I would certainly buy this type again when on sale next time. It is very pricey at $45.00+ dollars. I had no problem with the approx $18.00 sale price.

I feel obligated to write a review because my dog loves this mat! I got the medium in oatmeal for my 48lb mix. I pulled it out of the box, tossed it on the floor, and she immediately hopped on, circled a few times, and dropped off to sleep. I got this specifically for travel since it’s so much smaller/lighter than her bed, but I may just have to leave this out for her to nap on because she has not gotten off of it. She likes to sleep curled up so it’s a perfect fit, but if your dog is a sprawler a larger size may be best. It says it is machine washable, though I can’t attest to how it holds up after several washes (yet).

I played around with size/color combos and got the medium for $14.83. Unfortunately it looks as though Amazon hiked the price back up, which is the only downside.

    Happy snores!
