Showmanship Judging Criteria~ |
Junior
Handlers, Senior Handlers and Pewee Junior Handlers will be judged
on
his/her individual performance in the ring ~ how well each
handler can show off the
dog at the end of his/her lead. Each handler should be aware
of where the judge is
at all times while he/she is exhibiting in the ring. Each
handler should be able to tell
the judge what breed of dog he/she is showing, the name of the dog
and the age of
the dog. Handlers must know the ring formations ~ ability to
complete a triangle,
L-shape formation and understanding of up and back relating to the
T. The most
important part of the handlers presentation is the ability to stack
and present the
dog to the judge.
