Shih zu dog having some health issues?

My grandma’s shih zu is about ten years old. She is almost completely deaf and has a lot of allergies. We have taken her to the vet and he suggested children’s benedryl for her allergies (excuse the spelling). She is urinating and pooping everywhere too. Also, one night my mom was trying to cut a big knot out of her fur and accidentally cut her tail. The dog didn’t even yelp.

Ants attacking my dog and filling my house. dog health issues?

Dog Health Questions
Jess is apparently in extreme pain due to invasion of ants…she’s constantly licking and scartching her nose, stopping to shove her face on the floor to rub it, or freaking out and rolling around trying to rub her nose.

Yeah, I believe there’s an ant still stuck in her mouth stinging her…

I really have no way to help her and I feel that it’s a repeat of when she was sniffing in a bush and tried to eat a bee
the bee bit her tounge, and her tounge swelled up so bad we had to take her to a vet or it’d block her windpipe… -_-

And my parents are at a fucking concert and I can’t drive, so if it’s a repeat, I have no way of helping her…

Is there a dog similar to a Boxer but that doesn’t drool or have the inherent health issues?

Is there a dog (mixed or pure) that is similar to a Boxer but that doesn’t have the inherent health issues or the drooling issue? I specifically like the personality, size, coat (short and low shedding) and general look of the boxer.

Will dewormer work on a very , very old dog with many health issues?

He is not ours and I have suggested putting him down, but owner refuses. Everyone is recovering from loss of income so no extra money for vets and we have 2 healthy dogs. The old dog has taken over their living area and bedding.

Any purebreds that have the most health issues? I just want to know because it got me curious when people asked if there are any dog breeds with LESS health issues. So I wonder which had the MOST.
