How to Be Your Dog’s Best Friend: A Training Manual for Dog Owners
Why are hardcore dog owners so oblivious to health standards and cleanliness?

It seems that either the bigger the quantity (5 or more) or size/breed of dogs you own (Doberman, Pit Bull, Mastiff, etc) makes you more and more indifferent to the copius amounts of dog shizz and the revolting godawful smell it makes in your house and yard. I had a former next door neighbor, who once invited me (VERY briefly) over and remarked almost gleefully how the apt. maintenance guys have had to replace 4 sets of carpets in her apartment to date from her rottweiler and black Lab peeing and crapping across almost every square inch of it. Then my buddy and I whom I work with on the side after my day job for extra money lined up a contract to cut down dead tree out of a woman’s backyard, only thing was she ran a business from home rescuing Doberman’s and Rottweilers and so she probably had 12-15 of those dogs in her house and her whole backyard where we had to work was saturated with XL-sized dog shiz kucks. How come when you own many dogs or big ones, dog shiz is no big deal?
For a woman who makes it her living to save Dobermans and Rottweiliers, you would think she would be more attentive to cleaning up their shizz, especially if you just hired 2 guys to walk around in that yard to cut down a tree for you. It didn’t even dawn on her to clean it up until we vocally objected to even setting foot over by where we ultimately worked, the smell and sight was so bad I almost threw up and only could even stay in the area with the help of a dustmask that had a filter when I did come back. If that lady was so devoted to dogs like that, how come she can’t clean their shizz out of the way?
But if she likes dogs THIS much, wouldn’t she also want to make sure they live in the cleanest of conditions? That is the whole paradox of this big dog/multiple dog owning=shizz indifference equation.
“Or you think just because we like big dogs, or like rescuing many we love to have their **** lingering around all over the place??”
—
I would believe that you do, if the stink and the sight of your dogs shizz bothered you at all, like it should you would remove their kucks promptly if not for just your own health let alone the dogs’ health. Since more than a few dog owners’ yards are just 360 degree dog shizz repositories, I would say that is a valid statement.

Question for raw feeding/holistic health dog owners?

For those of you that prefer feeding your dogs a raw diet and/or employing holistic or homeopathic health care methods for them, do you find you’re more aware also of your own diet and health? I’ve noticed a correlation lately between people who are very knowledgeable about their dogs diet and health, are also very knowledgeable about their own own diet and health.
